SYNSTORES / HRS - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

HOW IS DATA TRANSFERRED FROM THE SENSORS TO THE GATEWAY?
Radio signal, 868.3 MHz frequency.

TRANSFER OF DATA FROM THE GATEWAY TO THE CLOUD?
Using a data SIM and an LTE modem.

WHO IS THE OPERATOR OF THE CLOUD WHERE DATA IS STORED.
? Microsoft Azure, security as specified in the standard Microsoft for cloud-based applications (ISO 27001).

DO I NEED TO ACCESS THE INTERNAL IT NETWORK? DO I NEED ANY COOPERATION PROVIDED BY THE INTERNAL IT DEPARTMENT?
No. The system complies with the requirements of EN 12830:2018; it is therefore fully autonomous and independent (as required by the standard). You do not need any access to the internal IT network or structure, there is no risk of any interference, you do not need any internal Wi-Fi or install any additional Wi-Fi, there are no risks or costs related to the IT; there are no requirements for the IT department or its structure. On the contrary, the system can provide valuable data for the internal IT and Q Management.

CAN WE STORE DATA AT OUR OWN INTERNAL SERVER?
EN 12830 requests that the application must be prevented from handling the data and therefore it is not allowed to store data at one‘s own server - this has to be provided by a cloud server. Nevertheless, we can provide data in any format for proprietary use by the customer and for the integration of this data into different systems. HRS application and outputs from this application must be used for the HACCP purposes - this is requested by EN 12830, which represents the foundation for the testing of the system.

SENSOR IMPLEMENTATION: WHAT IS THE „FILLING“ OF THE SENSOR?
The sensor design is based on the IP65 class (waterproof), the „filling“ consists of electronics, battery, the complete „internal“ space is watertight and inaccessible (the implemented batteries and electronics make this procedure possible = there is no need to replace the battery, the electronics is not repairable - in case of a failure the complete sensor shall be replaced - the replacement is a matter of seconds).

WHAT KIND OF SENSOR DO YOU USE?
A temperature sensor with digital output and internal calibration. Temperature sensor with digital output and internal calibration +- 0.3 C max. tolerance

WHAT IS THE BATTERY LIFE?
The guaranteed battery life is at least 10 years; calculations imply a lifetime of 40 years under temperatures up to -30° C. The battery manufacturer has had these batteries in certain sensor applications for over 30 years and they are still in operation. The battery lifetime is also based on the unique architecture of firmware and SW, which minimize power consumption during the sensor operation.

IS THE SYSTEM HACCP CERTIFIED?
The sensors have been tested according to the current EN 12830:2018 (this is currently the valid implementing standard for the verification of characteristics of heat sensors and systems in the foodstuffs storage and distribution field. This could be an applicable source when creating internal HACCP regulations and plans and it can be integrally implemented in these HACCP plans to provide control over the critical points in the temperature chain. Czech Metrology Institute has performed a complete testing of the Synstores system and the system complied with all the requirements. We can provide an official test report from the CMI
